I was recently asked by the local drama group, Sliabh Aughty Drama, if I could help them out with some props for their production of ‘The Salvage Shop’, a play set in a stained glass workshop. They needed a piece based on the Stations of the Cross. Aside from the time and cost of making a piece from glass and lead, the logistics of transporting a glass panel around, without breakage as they tour, was tricky. So with a piece of perspex and a few pots of glass paint, I produced this fake replica of a stained glass panel. Am pleased with the results, and it was so enjoyable to do. I hope it looks the part on stage. Looking forward to seeing the play at the upcoming East Clare Drama Festival in March..
