A full weekend of mosaic encompassing all the stages from design, application of tesserae, and grouting.
Plenty of room for experimentation, playing with colour and shape.
Each particpant will create their own unique mosaic piece.
All tools and materials provided and a lovely lunch each day.
Suitable for all levels, no experience necessary.

Well, what a great experience it has been exhibiting at Birr Theatre and Arts Centre this summer. My show 'Open Skies', opened on the August bank holiday weekend and is set to run until October 19th. The paintings, all emotive responses exploring attachment to sky, sea and land, received a great response from the public and many sold. On top of that, the staff at the theatre have been so helpful and supportive. I am feeling blessed to have had such a positive experience!

Art sessions totally dedicated to young people who really want to develop their art skills in an environment with others. We will cover a range of elements including tone and shading, proportion, observation, colour mixing, design and mark making whilst becoming familiar with, and experimenting with, different mediums. This course is designed to build confidence in ability and an open approach to art making.

'What's Left Behind' Art Exhibition by Emma Stewart-Liberty and myself.

Taking as their theme “what’s left behind” this exhibition brings together the work of two Clare based artists, Nathalie El Baba and Emma Stewart-Liberty. Nathalie’s work looks at the narrative of people’s lives, reﬂecting on the physical evidence of emigration represented by the empty bedrooms and left objects of Ireland’s young generation.
