The Artist in School Scheme is a project based art residency run by Clare Arts Office. It aims to enable national schools in Clare to develop creative projects with Clare based professional artists for the benefit of students taking part.

It promotes expression and participation through collaborative engagement, and imaginative exploration. The sessions are always a wonderful mix of creativity and fun, and a highlight in my working year.

Since 2009 I have been a regular artist collaborator with many schools around the county, and have worked on similar projects through the Teacher Artist Partnership Residency Programme.
